This explains what information Worth Plotting LLC collects, why, and what you can do about it. We've written it plainly on purpose.
WHO WE ARE
Worth Plotting LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our address is 368 S. Pickett St. #22457, Alexandria, VA 22304, United States. Contact info@worthplotting.com with privacy questions or requests.
This policy covers our website, Day 1 Short Cut signup and delivery, email communications, social messaging flows, purchases, placement process, community, and call bookings.
Information we collect
When you request Day 1 or join our email list:
Your name, email address, signup source, signup date, and relevant consent or subscription records. We may also store your Day 1 promotional deadline and whether you have purchased or qualified for an included benefit.
When you interact through social media or automated direct messages:
Your public profile information or platform identifier, comments and messages sent to us, responses in the messaging flow, and the name or email you choose to provide. Social platforms also process information under their own policies. Please do not send financial documents or account credentials through social messages.
When you buy:
Your name, email address, billing details, purchase and payment history, payment status, and information needed to grant and end access. Full payment card details are handled by the payment processor, not stored by us.
When you complete placement:
Your responses about your financial circumstances, such as debt, savings, and investing progress, together with your assigned stage and completion status. We use these to provide educational placement and grant the appropriate stage and Vault access.
When you use the community or ask questions:
Your profile details, posts, comments, questions, attachments you choose to share, and participation or course-completion information available through the platform. Other members can see information you post in spaces they can access. Ask Erica questions and video answers may be retained in the member Q&A library.
When you book a call or contact support:
Your contact details, booking information, correspondence, and information you choose to include in an intake form or support request. Do not send full account numbers, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive documents. If a call is to be recorded, we will notify participants and obtain consent where required before recording.
When you receive emails:
Our email service may record delivery, opens, clicks, IP address, and related device or approximate-location information, depending on its settings and your email software. Open tracking is not always accurate.
When you visit our pages:
Our website, hosting, embedded media, and other service providers may process IP address, device and browser details, referring pages, page activity, and cookies or similar identifiers needed to deliver or operate their services.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Deliver Day 1, its worksheet, and requested emails.
- Send follow-up lessons, ongoing notes, and information about our offers according to the signup choices presented to you.
- Calculate and administer promotional eligibility and deadlines.
- Process purchases, installment payments, refunds, and access periods.
- Deliver placement, stage resources, community access, and educational support.
- Manage call bookings, respond to requests, and maintain program records.
- Understand engagement, improve our resources, maintain security, and prevent misuse.
- Meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
Signing up for a free resource does not authorize a purchase or payment.
Providers and disclosures
We use service providers to operate the business. Depending on how you interact with us, these include:
- Kit for email delivery, subscriber records, custom fields, and tags.
- ManyChat and the relevant social platforms for automated messaging and lead capture.
- Circle for checkout, membership, courses, community, and access management, with its connected payment processor for payments.
- Typeform for member placement forms.
- Calendly for eligible call scheduling.
- Zapier for transferring necessary information and triggering actions between services.
- Website hosting, forms, embedded-video, and technical service providers used to deliver our pages and resources.
- Professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations, protect rights, or address security issues.
We share information as needed for these purposes. Providers process information under applicable contracts and their own policies. We do not sell personal information for money.
Cookies, embedded content, and analytics
Our pages and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, security, preferences, and service delivery. Third-party video players may receive technical information when you load or play their content.
If we use website analytics, those services may collect page activity, device details, approximate location, and identifiers to help us understand use of the site. Where required, nonessential tracking is subject to your consent or other available privacy controls. Browser cookie settings can restrict some tracking but may also affect functionality.
Advertising pixels and retargeting involve additional data uses. If introduced, we will update the relevant disclosures and provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law before enabling those uses.
Email and messaging choices
Day 1 signup includes the delivery email, five follow-up emails during the following week, and ongoing Worth Plotting emails, as disclosed at signup. You can stop marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting info@worthplotting.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel a purchase or installment plan. We may still send necessary purchase, billing, access, security, or support communications.
You can stop automated social messages through the platform's available controls or ask us to stop. Stopping social messages and unsubscribing from email are separate choices.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to deliver services, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We may retain a minimal suppression record to honor an unsubscribe request. The end of program access does not automatically delete purchase or account records.
We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect information. No online system is completely secure. Please use secure account credentials and avoid posting unnecessary personal financial details.
Your privacy requests
Contact info@worthplotting.com to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, including a copy of your information, restrictions on certain uses, or an appeal of a declined request.
We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally required or permitted. We respond within applicable legal deadlines. If we decline a request and an appeal right applies, reply to our decision with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. Our response will explain any further complaint options required by applicable law.
International processing
Worth Plotting is based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where legally required, we use applicable safeguards for international transfers.
Children
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
